Artist's Biography
Cherie Sullivan is a contemporary Scottish artist based in the beautiful Kingdom of Fife.
Cherie's main influences are colour and nature, which compliment her bold, distinctive, vibrant approach to her work. She paints primarily in oils but has also begun to work in acrylics and mixed media on box canvas. Her latest floral works are inspired by blurred photographs taken with her camera phone.
The paintings continue around the sides, making them ready to hang without the need for framing. All are signed and dated on the back, and are strung ready for their new home.
Cherie has work in galleries in Beauly, Inverness-shire, St Andrews and Pittenweem, Fife. She also has works in private collections here in the UK as well as Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States of America and New Zealand. NHS Fife have recently purchased 4 of Cherie's paintings, these are to be displayed in Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. "I love colour, texture and shape. My art is ever changing and evolving, I love trying out new ways of creating images."
